Home Instead East is seeking weekend  CAREGivers to work every Saturday and Sunday for our clients in the east end of Louisville.  This will be consistent  every weekend (Saturday and Sunday).   You will assist in the care of our clients helping them with their daily life and providing companionship. This role is perfect for someone who is already working a full or part time position, or a student who can be available on weekends.

Home Instead Louisville - East and Oldham County offers many different types of in-home senior care that can be individualized to meet the needs of our clients. The Home Instead network has been delivering in-home senior care for more than 20 years. Our location serves Jefferson County which includes: St. Matthews, The Highlands, Jeffersontown, Fern Creek, Prospect, Eastwood, Middletown, Highview, Okolona, Pewee Valley, Crestwood, Buckner, Goshen and LaGrange

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities
• Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties
• Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities
• Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment
• Arrive to your designated shift, on time and professional
• Prepare your shift with the client assessment details

​Qualifications:

• Experience in personal care with adults 
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to build rapport and interact with others in their time of need
• MUST be available every Saturday and Sunday
• Reliable transportation, drivers license, and car insurance
• Ok in homes with cats, dogs, and smokers
